The Superyacht
It can never be said we at Brennan are not up for a challenge. So, when one of our longest standing Clients asked us to carry out a refit of their super yacht we of course said yes.
The Challenge
Unhappy with discussions with marine fit out companies our client wanted value for money and confidence in both the delivery timescale and the quality of finish, so all the things we have proven to have delivered over the years.
While a door is a door and carpet is carpet there are some things that are different. Careful control of weight is a major factor, so everything had to be considered both in terms of quality of product and how much it weighed. Also, however big the boat is it still has some movement and flex so careful consideration was needed to allow suitable tolerances and junctions. Not forgetting a boat moves whereas pretty much everything else we build stays still.
The Works

Electrical and mechanical services in boats are subject to different regulations and requirements and there are also various specialist installations to co-ordinate and incorporate. Stabilisers are particularly interesting.
The Outcome
As you would expect, the quality of the fit out was exceptional and required careful co-ordination
On completion of our works the boat underwent the requisite sea trials and is now no doubt anchored somewhere particularly glamorous
