Goulston St
The site on Goulston Street sits between a hotel and a residential block, making access and logistics particularly difficult. Working closely with our neighbours, we developed a management plan to ensure we could complete the programme whilst minimizing any disruption.
The Challenge
Meeting the various requirements and constraints placed on the project required careful and considered design. In particular, the irregular angles and junctions necessitated the use of over 40,000 brick specials with an innovative support system.
The building is six storeys high, with piled foundations and a concrete frame including full concrete floors and roof slabs. The external envelope is lightweight steel and is brick faced.

Internally, we have created nine high quality apartments which include luxury bathrooms and kitchens, whole flat ventilation, and comfort cooling.
In line with our client’s business model, the apartments were offered for rent immediately following completion. All of which were let successfully in a short period of time.
