Wymondham

Built for client Wrenbridge, this is a new Design & Build 25,000 sq ft store to accommodate Focus DIY. Located in area of on-going development, the greenfield site is in a prominent position in Falconers Chase, opposite Norfolk Constabulary HQ.

The Challenge

The building is being constructed to a new corporate concept for Focus and includes a number of environmental features including a cladding system that offers a zero-carbon building solution.

Solution

Work includes:

Pads and strips
Westbrook portal frame
Mixture of composite wall cladding and twin liner roof build system (Corus Confidex Sustain product)
Drainage is porous paving with grey water attenuation (for re use within the garden centre)
Substantial car parking area and service yard area
